| The department of Commerce was established in 1945 and began offering B.Com. course. The post graduate programme was added in 1984. The department now offers B.Com.(Vocational) course which is specially designed to equip the students with specific skills required in the Job Market. B.Com Computers Course is also added withour intake of 60 student.The teachers of the department are actively engaged in research and some of them guide M. Phil. and Ph.D. scholars.
