         I deem it a great pleasure to introduce myself as the Principal of this prestigious college. In my long years of service as a faculty member of this University, I have known this college to be a center of academic excellence that provides an unforgettable experience for the young ladies nurtured here. Osmania University College for women is the only university constituent college for women, which offers undergraduate, postgraduate and certificate courses. It has been reaccredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council with an A grade and has been conferred the sought after status of “Center with Potential for Excellence” by the University Grants Commission. The faculty of this college is its main strength. A majority of them hold Ph. D degrees while the rest are in the process of acquiring them. Their specializations enable the college to provide the student community with regular courses in B.A, B.Com and B.Sc as well as job oriented self-finance courses. In fact this is the only college offering such a wide spectrum of courses.

Work Experience
    I am working since 1977 as the Head of Food & Nutrition department in the Osmania University College for Women, Hyderabad. In 1998 I have been elevated as PROFESSOR. Presently I am appointed as PRINCIPAL of the college.

    
The University Grants Commission has constituted the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) to assess Educational Institutions in India in respect of Quality of teaching and further Grade them. My college has been awarded 5 star status by NAAC.

    I am the founder Head of Food and Nutrition department and have set-up the department from scratch including the laboratory, equipment library furniture and staff. The job involves management
administration of the department. Teaching undergraduates and post graduates and Research etc.
     I am recognized Research Supervisor for Ph.D students in Nutrition.

    Iam Chairperson Board of Studies in Nutrition and Public Health in O.U. I habe been Director of 2 major Research Projects on food Adulteration and Diabetes.

  2. I am Project Director for a minor Research project in a company called Sante Food Products." on "A Study on the glycogenic response of a health drink misture mascot in diabetic individuals".
